Close up of plump blueberriesIndividuals and community groups (such as 4H, Scouts, Environmental Stewardship Clubs) can sign up for volunteer updates. A waiver is required. Children ages 4+ are welcome with a guardian, and high school students can earn volunteer hours with a guardian-signed waiver.

Volunteers help prepare the site in spring, harvest in summer, and care for the garden in fall by more weeding and winterization. A PUD employee will guide the work. No experience needed—just a willingness to help with weeding, mulching, planting, and harvesting. Tools are available onsite.

Bonus: Volunteers can receive a short tour of the onsite Woods Creek Hydroelectric Project after the event.
