MySnoPUD Recurring Text Messaging Terms of Service

  1. The subscriber (“you”) have provided express consent to receive recurring SMS messages (“texts” or “text messages” or “messages”) from Snohomish PUD (MySnoPUD) via short code, while understanding that consent is not a condition of purchase or service from Snohomish PUD. This service (the “Service”) will send text messages to existing customers who are opted in to receive alerts regarding their utility services; for example, power outages including cause, status, and power restoration times.
  2. We use Twilio to provide the Service to you. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to comply with the terms of Twilio’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Find out more: Twilio Acceptable Use Policy | Twilio
  3. You can cancel the Service at any time. Just text “STOP.” After you send the text message “STOP” to us, we will send you a text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. If you would like to opt back in, text “START” or login to your MySnoPUD account and go to “Manage Alerts.”
  4. If you are experiencing issues with the Service you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at 877-783-1000 (toll-free).
  5. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  6. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  7. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy by clicking here.
