Julieta Altamirano-Crosby

Julieta Altamirano-Crosby holds a Ph.D. in Social Communications, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and certifications in Race Equity and Leadership. She previously served as Lynnwood City Council Vice President in 2024. Dr. Altamirano-Crosby co-founded the WAGRO Foundation for education, the arts, and cultural awareness. She is the first Latina elected to a citywide office and first to serve as Snohomish County Commissioner. She serves on boards such as Snohomish County 911, the Lynnwood Food Bank, and Humanities Washington. Her tenure began January 1, 2025 and will conclude December 31, 2030.
