Meet Traci Frias, Customer Service Representative

Traci is a supporter and an advocate. Having joined the PUD in 2016 as an Office Support Associate to PUD Line Crews, Traci transferred to Customer Service less than a year later and has been assisting PUD customers ever since.

How do you serve PUD customers?

As a PUD customer service representative, I act as an advocate for our customers every day. Each call is an opportunity to listen, help with account issues, and develop a new and better relationship with PUD customers. The best part of being a CSR is transforming calls that start with customers upset or angry into a positive experience where they feel heard and acknowledged. I love researching a problem, clearing up misunderstandings, translating complex issues into simple terms, and giving customers a result they appreciate. The COVID pandemic has been especially challenging. I’m thankful that we were able to help so many customers through a tough time.

How do you serve your community?

I have three wonderful teenagers with whom I love to spend most of my time. One is a recent graduate from Lake Stevens High who wants to be an engineer. All three joined the US Naval Sea Cadets at Naval Station Everett, and I’m extremely proud of them. In the past, I have volunteered on a domestic abuse hotline and have served the homeless in other volunteer capacities in the Seattle Metro area. Nowadays, you’ll often find me developing my garden to attract hummers, butterflies and pollinators.
