To maintain integrity and reliability of the PUD’s system and continue exceptional service to our customers, we must perform work on a utility pole in your area.

Work includes replacement of an existing 40-foot utility pole with a 130-foot pole and installation of communication equipment. The new pole will be a similar color to the existing, and the height will be consistent with existing trees (see video below).

Work is scheduled to occur between June and September 2024, at the Wachusett Road water site. You may see PUD trucks and crew members working at the site for several days in preparation for this installation.

The PUD will take steps to minimize the impact on customers. Short-term daytime outages may be needed to complete the work. Any affected customers will be notified in advance of any necessary outages.
