The PUD has worked to secure more than $10 million to help our customers get caught up on their past-due balances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. You do not need to take any further action to receive these funds. Eligible customers will be notified by letter this December.
We have a variety of options available to assist customers in need of help paying their bills:
- Income-Qualified Assistance > income-qualified households receive 25% or 50% off your PUD bill, depending on income level
- Budget Payment Plan > make your PUD payment amount the same every month by averaging your annual amount into 12 equal payments
- Project PRIDE > PUD customers donate to Project PRIDE that provides one-time grants to eligible customers
