Big Solar. Big Savings.

The PUD’s Large Solar Incentive Program rewards commercial and residential customers who build photovoltaic systems from 50 to 200 kilowatts* in size. The incentive is $250/kW for systems sized 50 to 100 kW and $400/kW for systems sized 101 to 200 kW.

Systems less than 100 kW will be eligible for net metering, which credits customer’s accounts for all exported generation at the retail rate. Customers with systems at more than 100 kW will receive market rate credits for their exported generation.

In return for the incentives, customers will be required to grant the PUD the renewable energy credits (RECs) associated with the energy production of their system.

Customers will receive the incentive up to 200 kW

*Incentives are based on the size of the system in AC, not DC. This is due to the significant discrepancy between AC and DC photovoltaic systems
