The PUD recently completed a series of reliability improvements projects including the new North Camano Substation project and the 115kV Stanwood to Camano transmission line. The event will include speeches from PUD Commissioner Sid Logan, Island County Commissioner Janet St. Clair, City of Stanwood Mayor Sid Roberts, and PUD CEO/General Manager John Haarlow.

When: Thursday, December 11, Noon to 1 p.m.

Where: 531 E. Camano Dr. (Across from Freedom Park)
Parking is available at Freedom Park.

Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Ribbon cutting ceremony will begin promptly at noon. Tours of the substation will follow. This event will happen rain or shine, but it could be cancelled if a winter storm occurs or if there are significant outages due to winter weather.
