A Tree-mendous event to celebrate Arbor Day

In recognition of the Washington State celebration of Arbor Day, PUD Commissioner Rebecca Wolfe and Everett City Councilmembers Paula Rhyne and Liz Vogelli were joined by staff and students from Hawthorne Elementary for a tree planting ceremony on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
During the ceremony, Commissioner Wolfe accepted the Tree Line Award on behalf of the PUD. This is the 19th year that the PUD has received this award that recognizes the utility’s ongoing commitment to proper tree pruning, planting and care across its 2,200-square-mile service territory.
