Using a few simple pieces of equipment, this hands-on program teaches students how to “power” things to help them better understand the world of energy.
Energy Explorer Day features activities that teach students about basic electrical circuits, including series and parallel circuits. This year, students will design and build an Art Bot, which is a robot that wobbles across paper to create its own art masterpiece.
Students in grades 4th through 6th at the time of camp and living in Snohomish County or on Camano Island are eligible to register for Energy Explorer Day. The event duration is for one day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $20 for the day.
Tuesday, April 3, OR Tuesday, April 10, 2018
