Solar equipment is more affordable than ever, putting solar on the rise in Western Washington. With a PV system, a PUD customer can generate their own clean, renewable energy.
Costs for PV systems installed in Snohomish PUD service territory range from $3,000 to $5,000 per kilowatt (kW) installed, depending on system size, manufacturer and complexity. An optimally installed system in Snohomish County or Camano Island will generate approximately 1,100 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year for each kilowatt (kW) of installed capacity.
