Using energy wisely at home is an important way for all of us to control our electric costs, reduce our environmental impact and support the PUD’s efforts to meet our community’s growing energy needs through conservation and renewable energy sources. We all have opportunities to save energy through both simple actions like flipping switches and unplugging unused appliances, as well as investments like home weatherization and efficient appliances.
Snohomish PUD offers a full array of energy efficiency programs for our residential customers. You can see details here about our programs, including incentives and loans for weatherization, efficient lighting, efficient appliances, refrigerator recycling and new construction.
For lots of energy-saving ideas for your home, explore our tips in this section.
Close the curtains and use an ENERGY STAR ceiling fan on warm days instead of turning on the air conditioning.
