"I’m a single mom with two kids, and my husband left me in July. He left us with a $1,000 utility bill. I managed to pay most of it, but when school started I fell behind on my payments again. Project PRIDE helped me finish paying off the bill so I can concentrate on the classes I’m taking to become a nurse. I wasn’t sure if I could do both."– Nicole L
"I had to have emergency surgery and have no health insurance. After I was laid off last year, I couldn’t afford to keep paying for insurance. I have finally found a part-time job, but it doesn’t have insurance so I’m still paying off my bills. Project Pride helped me catch up on my electric bill. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"– Danni S.
