Through 2012 Planet Power funding, a 5.3-kW solar array was installed on Sultan High School’s breezeway roof to support the Green Sustainable Design & Technology Program. Solar energy information is shared via the school’s website and at numerous school events during the year.
Green Sustainable Design and Technology is the future of today’s students. This program prepares students to begin thinking about the future and how “Green Technology” can be used. The study of alternative energy sources is only the beginning of the transformation from oil dependence to independence.
This project was installed by NW Wind & Solar.
