Using a few simple pieces of equipment, this hands-on program teaches students how to “power” things to help them better understand the world of energy.
Energy Explorer Day features activities that teach students about basic electrical circuits, including series and parallel circuits. This year, students will design and wire a model of their dream room, based on their own schematic diagram.
Students who are in grades 4th through 6th at the time of camp and live in Snohomish County or on Camano Island are eligible to register for Energy Explorer Day. The event duration is for one day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $20 for the day.
